Yash Raj Films’ much-awaited action movie ‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt in the lead along with Sharvari, is releasing on July 3. This film is a major test for Alia as she is currently the most successful solo female lead in Bollywood.

Alia has already delivered multiple solo hits like Highway, Dear Zindagi, Raazi and Gangubai Kathiawadi. If ‘Alpha’ becomes a big hit, she will achieve something no other actress has — delivering a big-budget solo female action film at the box office.

Only Rani Mukerji has tasted success with solo action films (Mardaani series) earlier.
