One Nirjala Ekadashi Gives Punya Equal to 24 Ekadashis
In Hinduism, Nirjala Ekadashi is considered the most powerful and supreme among all 24 Ekadashis of the year. Also known as the βbiggest Ekadashi,β it falls on the Shukla Paksha Ekadashi of Jyeshtha month and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
It is believed that observing a strict fast on this day β without consuming even a drop of water or any food β grants the devotee the same spiritual merit (punya) as observing all 24 Ekadashis in a year.
