'Sanskari Babuji' Alok Nath Completely Changed After #MeToo Allegations, Reveals Friend Rajesh Puri
Recently, his childhood friend and fellow actor Rajesh Puri revealed details about Alok Nath's current life during an interview with Siddharth Kannan. Puri disclosed that the #MeToo allegations deeply impacted Nath, leading him to completely distance himself from the film industry. He now lives a quiet, peaceful life and rarely steps out of his house. "When the #MeToo allegations surfaced against him, everyone was shocked because he was known as a 'Sanskari' actor. After the allegations, he completely isolated himself and has almost vanished from the industry," Puri stated.
Reflecting on Alok Nath's journey, Puri admitted that his old friend might have made some mistakes, but emphasized that he still considers Nath a good-hearted person. "Alok is a very pure-hearted man. He has completely changed now. He doesn't even drink alcohol anymore," Puri added. He further explained that Nath had two major issues: he couldn't tolerate things that bothered him, and he had a dangerous drinking habit, which severely impacted him. While Puri mentioned he never saw Nath misbehave with anyone during their outdoor shoots, he acknowledged that Nath's behavior would turn aggressive and uncontrollable after drinking.
Rajesh Puri also claimed that Alok Nath has chosen to stay away from acting and rarely interacts with people, repeatedly declining invitations to meet. Over the years, Nath has turned towards spirituality, seeking peace and guidance. "Whatever happened, has happened. There is no smoke without fire. He regrets things, and whatever happened was not good. He doesn't want to face anyone now. We both follow the same Guru ji, and Alok has also started following him. He is under Guru ji's guidance, though he even avoids attending the Satsangs," Puri concluded.
