‘Sting’ Energy Drink Will Not Be Sold Within 500 Meters of Schools

In a major decision, the Maharashtra government has prohibited the sale of Sting energy drink within 500 meters of schools. Food Minister Narahari Jhirwal announced that detailed guidelines will be issued soon.

This move comes after FSSAI issued notices to six major energy drink brands including Sting, Red Bull, Monster, and others for misleading claims.
