Yashvardhan Singh Chouhan Named India U-19 Captain for Sri Lanka Tour
Chouhan, a talented all-rounder, has been rewarded for his consistent performances in domestic age-group cricket. He will lead a strong 15-member squad that also includes promising wicketkeeper-batter Anvay Dravid, the younger son of Rahul Dravid.
### Leadership Role
This is a big responsibility for the Madhya Pradesh player. As captain, Yashvardhan will be expected to guide a young and talented group against Sri Lanka in conditions that will test their skills and temperament.
Laksha Raichandani has been named vice-captain, providing a balanced leadership duo.

This tour is being seen as important preparation for the U-19 World Cup 2028. With several talented players in the squad, including Anvay Dravid, the team will look to gain valuable experience in Sri Lankan conditions.
