In a strategic move to engage the Gen-Z demographic and address youth aspirations ahead of upcoming electoral dynamics, the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is formulating a comprehensive 'New Youth Policy' and setting up an independent State Youth Commission.

- Independent Youth Commission: CM Yogi has ordered the creation of an expert-led independent State Youth Commission to continuously monitor, evaluate, and review programs and welfare schemes dedicated to youth aged 16 to 35.
- Tech-Driven and Skill Development Focus: The proposed policy emphasizes future-ready skills such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, cyber security, drones, semiconductors, entrepreneurship, and digital empowerment.
