Emergency Ban on Oil-Gas Lifted

India has withdrawn most emergency curbs imposed on natural gas supply. Restrictions on petrochemical plants, power stations and refineries have been eased.

Crude oil prices have also fallen, raising hopes of a possible reduction in petrol and diesel prices in the coming days.
