The 3 Warriors Who Defeated Hanuman Ji!

Lord Hanuman is considered one of the most powerful deities in Hindu scriptures. However, some legends mention three warriors who were able to overpower him.

1. Machindranath: A great Siddha yogi and ascetic. Once in Rameshwaram, a confrontation occurred between Hanuman and Machindranath. Using his yogic powers, Machindranath defeated Hanuman. The battle ended only after the intervention of Vayudev.

2. Meghnad (Indrajit): During Hanuman’s visit to Lanka in search of Sita, Meghnad used the Brahmastra. Although Hanuman was not harmed due to his boons, he respectfully allowed himself to be bound by the weapon.

3. Luv and Kush: During Lord Ram’s Ashwamedha Yagya, Luv and Kush captured the yagya horse. In the ensuing battle, they defeated many warriors including Hanuman. Upon realising they were Ram and Sita’s sons, Hanuman chose not to fight back.
