The Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, is considered 'Vaikuntha Dham' in Hinduism. The annual Jagannath Rath Yatra, which begins this year on Thursday, July 16, 2026, is famous worldwide. However, the temple and the yatra are surrounded by numerous miracles and mysteries that continue to baffle modern science. **Incomplete Idols of Neem Wood**
Unlike other Hindu temples, the idols here are made of Neem wood (Daru) and have no hands or feet. According to legend, King Indradyumna requested the divine architect Vishwakarma to carve the idols. Vishwakarma agreed on the condition that he would work behind closed doors and no one should open them until the work was finished. Anxious about the sculptor's well-being, the King opened the door prematurely. Vishwakarma vanished, leaving the idols incomplete. A divine voice then declared that the Lord wished to reside on Earth in this very form.

**Flag Blowing Against the Wind**
